Domenic Marte the artist I represent as his Manager celebrates his 3 nominations in different categories in Premio Lo Nuestro. On Tuesday December 1st 2009 Premio Lo Nuestro announced who were the nominees for Premio Lo Nuestro 2010 to be held at the Miami Arena on February 18th 2010. Domenic Marte was nominated in 3 different categories for the first time in his musical career since being nominated for 1 category in 2004 with Premio Lo Nuestro.
Nominations were.
1. Song of the year - Eres Asi ( Deseos De Amarte album)
2. Male Artist of the year
3. Traditional Tropical Artist of the year.
I Eddie Rodriguez CEO of Ed. Rod. Entertainment was born and raised in the Bronx I am a prodigy of New York City. I Eddie Rodriguez started out as a DJ in NYC known as DJ Eddie Rod with the ability to play House,HipHop, RNB,Classics & Latin all in one night. Something that a lot DJ'S still lacks today. I was also One of NYC foremost S.U.R.E. Record Pool Assistant Director for 10 years. Ever since the passing of Bobby E Davis President of S.U.R.E. Record Pool on December 11 2010 I have taken the responsibility to run S.U.R.E. Record Pool that has been in business since 1977 and becoming now Vice President.
I have worked in the music industry for over 30 years. I have worked with National Radio Promotions & Independent Promotions for many record companies both major and independent. I spent 27 years studying and learning the music industry. My knowledge includes but is not limited to Promotions, Marketing, and Management.
I Eddie Rodriguez has had the opportunity to work for Priority Records, Luke Records, Atlantic Records, Fever Records, Mic Mac Records, LIL Joe Records, Warner Music, Universal Records & Slip & Slide Records. I Eddie Rodriguez has made a name for myself and I am known for my ability to get records played on National radio stations across the United States.
Some of the Artist's that I have had the pleasure of working with are: Ice Cube, Master P, Snoop Dog, Dr Dre, Tupac Shakur (RIP), Jaheim, Janet Jackson, & OutKast, Domenic Marte, Bats N Rome, Taton Y Tremendo just to name a few.
Using my knowledge I decided to venture out on my own and open Ed Rod Entertainment. The company is a Music Market Research company that caters to recording Artist, DJ's & Producers in order to enhance their presence on Radio, Retail, Clubs & on the Streets.
Ed Rod Entertainment is also a Management & Artist development company for Recording Artists, Producers & Disc Jockeys. More recently I Eddie Rodriguez decided to branch out into the Latin market in order to expand my knowledge and help breaking Latin Artists promote & market themselves in areas where record companies are lacking creativity, presence, marketing, promotions & radio. I do this by using tried and true methods and a lot of “thinking outside the box.”
